Thanks to Aunt Sumi who’s interning for Obama, Liam is now making his first political statement. Actually, he’s making his first political statement about me, but luckily it’s true.
This evening I got to do something really fun. My friend GF is in The Hague to teach for a week and she wanted to surprise our friend BG in Amsterdam, which sounded like a lot of fun. So, a few weeks ago I very nonchalantly invited her for dinner tonight as though nothing was going on – we’d been planning to get together anyway and I was very smooth arranging the date. Ivo then picked GF up after he got off work and brought her in after him. This was BG’s reaction – I’ve never seen anyone rendered literally speechless, let alone BG!
