Well, it’s time to put the crib level down – on Liam’s seven month birthday I came down from quickly getting something for our trip to Amsterdam to see this:
In Amsterdam, we spent a lovely afternoon with my friend Katherine, mostly involving sitting at a canalside cafe and then hitting some bookstores before having apple cake at another canalside cafe.
I managed to get a nice farmer’s burn during the day – we’ve had such crappy weather here that I didn’t even think of putting on sunscreen. Ivo came into Amsterdam for dinner, which we had at a nice Thai restaurant in the Chinatown area.
