Eating and Playing

Despite being on the small side, Liam is a good eater. He breast feeds three or four times a day, eats three bowls of solid food, has one bottle and usually some snacks as well. He needs it all for his constant movement, and he processes it all out as well (and that’s as close to the poo issue as we’ll go for now!). He seems to have figured out the whole eating thing and usually just sits in his high chair, hands on the sides of the tray, awaiting his food like a little prince. Today was a little different – we were trying something new and it was too bland for him so he resisted (making a face and taking the food out of his mouth and handing it back to me) until I added some apple and cinnamon to give it flavour, then it went OK, as you can see. Plus we were playing his favourite game: where’s Liam?

Then later we played with his new toys – clothespins in a bucket! They were quite a hit (thanks Mum for the suggestion!).

He was very intent on the clothespins…

Until he saw the camera:

He’s figured out that he should smile for the camera and if he sees it it’s impossible to get a candid shot.
