Wandering for Credit

Today was the second last class for our group, and the last class with Henny – we had two teachers, one on Mondays and one on Thursdays and Fridays. Most of the students were also finished with their Dutch lessons and were about to or just had taken the Staatsexamen, so this had a real ending feel about it. I took Liam to his Friday babysitter for the last time, a lovely Moroccan lady who absolutely dotes on him, then rushed downtown to meet the group to do a tour of the centre, answering information questions along the way.

A group of the women (all photos from Fitri).

And this is sort of what we looked like most of the day, reading the directions and trying to figure out where to look for the answer.

The whole group who came on the city tour (a few classmates couldn’t make it). In the front are Linh (Vietnam), Henny (teacher) and Sidhu (India). In the middle row are Eyup (Turkey), Inna and Slava (Russia), Vladimir (Russia), Frankie (New Zealand) and Susana (Uruguay). And in the back, Fitri (Indonesia), me, Nevenka (Bulgaria) and Parisa (Iran).
