A selection of photos from the last couple weeks in September.
Cuteness from other than Liam – the cats really enjoyed us getting a new kitchen drawer thing from Ikea. Well, the boxes anyway.
Another visit to the kinderboederij down the block. Liam likes the rabbits
and was OK with the goats
but was scared of the chickens. He really liked the wagon
and the swing.
On the 20th we headed down to Tilburg for a family celebration of Leo’s 34 years at Philips. Everyone wrote him a poem about his time there, quite a lovely way to mark his transition.
Liam eating a banana.
And playing in the tent with Papa, one of his very favourite things to do.
A video of him playing.
He really does love that train – as you can see, he makes it go again once it runs out. He cried when we took it back to the speelotheek (a sort of library for toys).
Reading in the guest bed.
Some of the funnier animal imitations.
The iquana is in homage to my parents who reportedly made me do that as well, and the bunny, well, he can’t seem to wiggle his nose, so that’s the next best thing.
Here’s Liam being cheeky (and you can see how impressed Fraser is). I’ve got some improvements to the cats’ environment underway, one of which is to move their water here, protected, or so I thought, by a board. Of course, as soon as I finished putting it up, this is what I got.
And finally, “helping” me with the laundry.
