Heredity is a funny thing. At first it seemed that Liam looked only like Ivo with very little of me in there – if you look at their baby pictures together especially.

Not much similarity, eh?
But then, Liam looks more like a toddler than a baby, so if you compare me as a toddler to Liam, he looks more like me.

And now the differences from Ivo are clearer – here’s Ivo as a slightly older baby:
Oh, and whoever he ends up looking like physically, he definitely takes after Ivo in his body type and his energy – never stops moving, even when he’s nursing, which is definitely Ivo and so definitely not me. But Ivo blames Liam’s troubles in getting to sleep on me – the whole lack of brain shutdown thing. Who knows? But it is fascinating to see parts of each of us in Liam, as well as what is him alone.
