But maybe it's because there used to be bears in this sad little enclosure, which is now filled with little sculptures of extinct animals. This picture is not the greatest - the lumps over there are a giraffe (I guess there's an extinct giraffe species?) and a fairy. There were others in the moat surrounding the tour thing. But my camera battery had just run out and I'd forgotten to charge my spare so I could only take quick pics without the digital viewfinder.
