We rode down through Sumas, got stuck in the Easter long weekend border traffic, and then hit the relatively open and winding roads from the border down to Sedro Wooley. Took a slow and gentle ride out to see my parents today. It’s nice to be able to go and see them – they live too far away to get to by transit, and it didn’t seem fair to always make them come in. Well, I had my first crash – luckily it wasn’t very bad – I’m pretty much OK – some very pretty bruising, bruised or cracked rib, jammed fingers, but really nothing very bad at all.
